Before we sit down to give thanks for our blessings, we are reminded of the needs of the more than 50 million Americans, including 17 million children who are food insecure, meaning they lack consistent access to nutritious food. These new figures show one in four children may be without the adequate nutrition they need for proper development.
That is why, we are especially thankful for you, the more than 260,000 participants in Souper Bowl of Caring who make a difference each year in the fight against hunger and poverty in America. Whether you hold a soup pot at church on Super Bowl Sunday, organize an event at your church, school or business, collect donations at your annual Super Bowl party, volunteer at a food bank or soup kitchen in your area, or provide gifts that help support our program costs, you are essential to this national movement of caring. We are grateful for your compassion, generosity, and willingness to help people in need. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank You for Giving
