Souper Bowl of Caring is excited to welcome Jamie Ratliff to its team. Jamie joins Souper Bowl of Caring as the North Texas Director. She will be responsible for the planning and execution of all activities in North Texas.
"Because of the strong support for Souper Bowl of Caring in the area, the organization decided to make the North Texas Director a full-time position," said Clara Cooper, Souper Bowl of Caring President and CEO. "In 2014, North Texas participants raised more than $1.4 million in food and cash donations for local charities."
Jamie is a long-time resident of Arlington and has spent her most recent years as a community and school volunteer. She serves on the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Boards of her local elementary, junior high and high school. Jamie is also involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Arlington, where she has served on several event committees as well as co-chaired an annual event. Jamie was the executive director of another non-profit organization and also was a U.S. Senate staff member, working both in Washington DC and Dallas.
"There were several good finalists," Cooper said. "However, we believed that Jamie was the candidate that possessed the diverse talents needed for this position. Her vast experience in nonprofit leadership includes project management, fundraising, working with volunteers and much more."
Please join us in welcoming Jamie to our team! If you need to contact her with any questions about the North Texas movement, you can best reach her by email at Jamie.Ratliff@souperbowl.org.
