North Texans Surpass $1.5 Million Community Goal
North Texans are champions this year, as their local donations have surpassed the $1.5 million community goal - enough to provide nearly 2 million meals. Over a month ago, the 2015 Souper Bowl of Caring campaign kicked off to #TackleHunger in our local community. During the campaign, area schools, churches, businesses and compassionate individuals coordinated food drives to support local charities of their choosing. Many also purchased pre-packaged bags and made donations at local Albertsons, Kroger, Market Street and Tom Thumb stores to stock the shelves of local food pantries.
