Previously, Renee proudly served as Director of Development for KIPP DC Public Charter Schools, a cluster of high performing middle schools in Washington, DC. At KIPP DC, Renee led fundraising activities to successfully bridge the shortfall between KIPP DC's operating budget and District of Columbia and Federal funds. Prior to joining the fight for better educational options for DC youth, Renee served as a Government Relations Representative for the United States Postal Service Headquarters, where she educated members of Congress and their staff on postal-related legislation and issues.
Renee earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Government Management from Southeastern University where she graduated summa cum laude. Renee is an active member of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated where she was recently elected to the position of Vice President of the Greater Frisco Chapter. She currently lives in Frisco, Texas with her husband and daughter.
