How did you hear of Souper Bowl of Caring?A senior Property Manager, Natalie Woodard heard about Souper Bowl of Caring through her church, St. Frances Episcopal Church in Houston Texas.
Why did you choose to join the Souper Bowl of Caring team?Accesso Services LLC was looking for a charity that could involve several properties and potentially go nationwide. We were looking for a charity that we could all get involved in as a team.
What does your group do to participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring movement? The management of each building set up a donation spots and collected donations from the building tenants. Even the engineers got involved! One City Centre created a football field and put cans as football players. The more donations we got, the bigger the "crowd" became.
What have you found is most successful for raising cash and food items?Communications, fun visuals and interaction got a lot of people interested!
Was there any particularly meaningful or moving story from your collection you would like to share? The time and effort put in by the engineering management staff to create a football field, to scale, to ensure that maximum impact would be displayed. The more buzz created and the more donations received! The head engineers also arranged for all the food to be delivered to the Food Bank and it also took time and extra effort.
Tell us a little about where you donate your collection to.The Houston Food Bank is the largest food donation foundation. They received a four out of four star rating. Houston Food Bank is a private non-profit organization founded in 1982 and is a certified member of Feeding America, the nation's food bank network.
Are there any resources you feel Souper Bowl of Caring could develop to enhance your collection?I need help with a nationwide strategy for all Accesso Services properties to be involved.

What does it mean to you?It is an honor and privilege to work with people that give of their time and resources, to know that a child, grandparent, man or woman will be able to feed their families, and themselves. No one should feel the burden of not knowing where their next meal will come from.
