NFL Alumni Houston Chapter Treasurer, Karen Foster notes:
"What a wonderful game day experience the NFL Alumni members had teaming up with Souper Bowl of Caring. Our members, who are former NFL Players, were really the MVP's of the event. Our guests came by to meet our NFL Players, dropped off lots of canned goods, and stayed and watched the game. What a great day of football and fundraising!"
The Souper Bowl of Caring campaign in the greater Houston area has surpassed the 2016 goal of generating 2.75 million meals. The area has been able to collect more than 2.9 million meals so far, due to the efforts of participating groups like the NFL ALumni Houston Chapter.
Souper Bowl of Caring extends a huge thank you to the champions both on and off the field for their efforts to tackle hunger!
