2014 Luncheon Raises $247,000
In September, Souper Bowl of Caring hosted its first-ever Tackle Hunger Houston Luncheon. As you may know, 100% of all donations collected during the weeks leading up to the Big Game are donated back to charities our participants choose. For this event, we were fortunate enough to have our partners and participants give back to us. We are grateful to say the luncheon raised $247,000. Souper Bowl of Caring Houston Luncheon Honors Robert McNair
Souper Bowl of Caring is hosting its first Tackle Hunger Houston Luncheon on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Hilton Americas in Houston. This fundraising event will kick off the organization's 25th anniversary celebration. During the luncheon, the Tackle Hunger Humanitarian Award will be presented to Robert McNair, Chairman and CEO of the Houston Texans, for his dedication and commitment to the fight against hunger.
