January 2017 Is Souper Bowl of Caring Month at RLC
What is it? Souper Bowl of Caring is a time when we work with local agencies who fight hunger in the community and the world. Each January we are reminded, as Super Bowl Fever strikes the country, that many people go hungry each and every day. Our goal - to raise monies and canned good donations through a variety of faith, fun and fellowship awareness events that will be given to local and global hunger agencies - who we partner with to stomp out hunger! Also, we ask that every time you see, read or hear something about the Super Bowl you stop and this short prayer;
"Lord, even as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us be mindful of those who are without a bowl of soup to eat"
What are we doing? We offer several faith, fun and fellowship events during January that help us raise monies and donations for our causes.
