Our church has assisted with the Meals on Wheels program for many years. Even our youth have been involved. These kids have taken their energy and sweetness to those who may not only be hungry but also lonely. Sometimes the recipients of these meals see no others during the day except for those who deliver these warm and nourishing meals.
We thought that the Meals on Wheels program is such a blessing to those in our community that we would give our 2013 Souper Bowl of Caring donations to our local program.
We will take up our donations in our big soup pots immediately following our worship services on January 27th and February 3rd.
