This year we are hosting the Community Meal at Wesley United Methodist Church on February 2. Serving Chili, Cornbread, Fruit Salad and Cookies to approximately 100 people. Wesley offers this free meal to our community every Saturday morning; churches, organizations and individuals sign up for a Saturday, Wesley offers their church fellowship hall and kitchen. It's a wonderful ministry we are grateful to be involved in.
On Sunday, February 3 we will collect money for Souper Bowl of Caring at our church services. We will also be donating our monthly food choice (soups and crackers!) to our local Food Cupboard. Our goal is to collect 400 units of a given food item each month. We are very thankful to be able to help stock the shelves for people in need in our community.
