The 4-12 is a youth group is a combined group from the Methodist, Presbyterian and Episcopal Churches. "4-12" comes from 1st Timothy 4:12 - Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
Last year, we started this Souper Bowl Dinner and Fundraiser Auction to raise more money for the Souper Bowl of Caring, which we give the proceeds to the local Soup Kitchen. This year, we had a great turnout! Over 80 people came to our dinner and enjoyed lots of different soups made especially by our youth parents. After the dinner, we had the silent auction for the bowls. These bowls are made by a local artist, painted by the youth and counselors, then glazed and fired making them durable for one to eat most anything. This year, we are pleased to provide the Soup Kitchen with $1,150.
