We are excited to get involved in Super Bowl of Caring. This is the first year for the youth ministry to participate. We have collect for a couple of weeks now and things are going well. We will have a special collection and food drive at all our Masses this weekend. It's even more special that we get to choose the charity to receive the donations. Catholic Charities here in Lubbock helps 100's of people each week with food, clothing, utility assistance, medical, and housing. The donations will be put to good use feeding those in need here in Lubbock and the surrounding areas. We have an 8th grader that is also collecting socks for the homeless as a services project for her Sunday school project. What a blessing to see the students get involved and even doing something as an individual. We are truly blessed.
