At the end of every trimester, we as a small Christian school look for ways to serve our community. From raking leaves and repairing equipment to writing Christmas cards to deployed soldiers and collecting food for local charities. This Trimester, we had a competition among the students and staff to see which group could collect the most food items, most money and most weight of items all to help others with food insecurities. We also gave prizes in those categories so we can celebrate with extra recess, pizza and ice cream for the winning teams. It not only brings us together as a group, but puts us out in the community to show kids how serving others is an important part of our faith. In the words of Bob Goff, "Love is never stationary. Love does."
