Our congregation is not meeting in person due to the pandemic. Thus our ability to collect money and food items was greatly impacted. Members were encouraged to send or take donations directly to the local food pantry. I know that many people did just that, but we have no way to tabulate the total. Our church supports the Winneconne Area Assistance Center throughout the year and not just for the Souper Bowl. We donated $1000 early in the pandemic lockdown to support the Back-Pack program which provides food for students on the weekends, when they are not in school receiving meals. Hopefully, we will be able to report a much larger total in 2022.
