Souper Bowl of Caring 2017
Each year our youth ask members of the congregation to bring crock pots filled with soup to serve following the morning worship services on Souper Bowl of Caring Sunday. We serve/eat until the pots are empty. Our congregation and guests donate money and canned goods. Members of our youth group stand outside after church and walk around the room during lunch with giant soup pots to collect money in. We have a crew counting money throughout the event to keep the room posted on our status toward our goal. Each year we aim to match or go above the amount of money we raised the year before.
