Ransom Cafe operates like a restaurant, but there are no prices on our menu. Instead, we ask guests to donate what they can -- money, time or resources -- which allows people who normally would not be able to afford a comparable meal to enjoy a dignified restaurant experience while also holding them accountable. Our model allows people from all walks of life to sit at a table together and have a conversation. Ransom Cafe also provides volunteer opportunities for churches, civic groups and youth while simultaneously providing purpose and meaningful work for the unemployed. Ransom Cafe is also the main avenue for meeting and recruiting participants for Ransom ReProgram.
