Love, Serve and Give!
Teens are often regarded as the takers and not givers, the Arlington Chapter Teens of the South Central Region are changing that perception one teen at a time. On MLK weekend the accepted the challenge from our organization to use that three day weekend as a day "on". In the small time of Mansfield that is busting at the seams from growth, fifteen teens ushered into the tiny food pantry over 640 can food items, sorted their donation along with another external donation. The teens spent a couple hours working and ended their service time with a blessing prayer from the pantry coordinator. The shared the Love, Served the Community and Gave their time toward providing nourishment for this not as fortunate!
